On Tuesday, September 10, the Jeffers Cross Country team participated in the Hancock Invite at the Maasto Hiihto Trails. The Jets placed five runners in the top 15. Cameron Anderson led the Jets, taking third overall with a time of 17:43. Landon Larson finished fourth, and freshman Blake Heltunen was ninth overall. The strong team performance included an 11th-place and 13th-place finish, respectively, by Branson Anderson and Tage Rajala. The Jets have now placed first overall in two of their three meets this season. The Cross Country team is off until next Monday, Sept. 16 as they will run at the Calumet invite at the Swedetown Trails.
